Today I’m sharing a few of my favourite beauty items from February. Please excuse how many times I used the word super – it just shows how much I loved these items! haha

Here’s a little story about just how great the Seche Vite fast dry top coat REALLY is. It’s Sunday night, and I just finished painting my nails. I put on my top coat and after 15 min, I put on some rubber gloves to do some cleaning. While my nails were perfectly dry to the touch (I even did the press hard and try to make a fingerprint in your polish test), apparently the layers underneath my top coat were still tacky. I pulled off my gloves to find this:

Messy Nails

I really tried to convince myself that I didn’t need to re-do my manicure in order to go to work on Monday…but that lasted about 30 minutes before I quickly put together the purple hawaiian flower design. This was my first time using my m82 plate, and I really love the variety of images you get on this one!

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE the full nail designs on the Konad image plates? It makes it so incredibly easy to create beautiful nails in just a few minutes!

For this look I used China Glaze Kinetic Candy, and painted one nail with Essie Tart Deco. Once they were completely dry I stamped on this flowery design from plate m60. That’s all there is to it!

You’ll find with full nail designs that you make a big mess of your fingers. Don’t worry at all – once you’re done just clean up the excess polish with a q-tip or a nail polish remover pen.

Leopard and Lace

Leopard and Lace Nails

I had originally seen part of this look on Pinterest – and immediately needed it on my nails!

The version on Pinterest uses the lace design on plate m57 (which is my all time favourite Konad plate. If you ever want to give Konad a try I recommend picking up this plate first!). You’ll notice that one nail has a larger lace design, they just stamped the lace pattern twice!

I wanted something just a little different…

I painted my nails with Essie Peach Daiquiri, and once dry I stamped the lace design on a little bit of an angle across 8 of my nails. For my last 2 nails I used the leopard and lace design from plate m50. Very simple, yet elegant!
